Olivia Rubini Joins Team Legend on The Voice with Linda Ronstadt Cover

24-year-old Olivia Rubini made a memorable entrance on The Voice stage, earning a spot on Team Legend with her rendition of Linda Ronstadt’s “Long, Long Time.” The song, released in 1970 on Ronstadt’s second solo album “Silk Purse,” marked her venture into country music and earned her a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Female Vocal Performance.

Rubini, who describes her musical style as a mix of ’70s vibes and pop, chose the song to showcase her voice. Her performance caught the attention of coach John Legend, who turned his chair for her, making her the final member of his team. Legend was impressed, noting that her only hiccup came when she was momentarily shaken by his chair turn.

As Rubini joined Team Legend, she received a Team Legend jacket and words of encouragement from the coach. With the Battle Rounds starting on March 18, fans are eager to see how Legend will guide Rubini’s journey on the show.
