Another Hallelujah duet between Andrea Bocelli and his 11-year-old daughter Virginia Bocelli was performed.
Since then, Virginia has been on the road with her brother Matteo Bocelli and father Andrea Bocelli, prior to the release of their album A Family Christmas.
In an exclusive interview, eight-year-old Virginia said she was scared to perform live for the first time.
She said to us, “After a few performances, you start to get more comfortable. The first times I sang live, I was actually very scared.” As I was singing Over the Rainbow from the Christmas album, I started to feel nervous once more. It could go either way—very well or very poorly. After a few successful attempts, you begin to calm down and say to yourself, “Okay, every other time I did good.” It’s an educational opportunity.
Virginia Bocelli dedicated the song “Hallelujah” to Chico on February 14, 2022, at Fla Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida. She performed the song with her father in front of 25,000 spectators.
